The experimental photography landscape Yellow Tree with Road and Hills was made in Sarajevo, Bosnia (Bosna i Hercegovina) in the summer of 2006 when I returned to an already familiar landscape during my second stay in the Bosnian capitol.

Yellow Tree is one of a series made in the summer of that 2006 which includes its sister work Yellow Tree with Orange Dumpster, the location related Landscape at Fort Vraca, the cemetery floral Blurred Roses and cemetery landscape Four Trees Hill and a scene from a Sarajevo Funeral.

All of the Sarajevo Series made at this time were intended to imply hope for Sarajevo's and Bosnia's more colorful rejuvenation.
