Red Carnations with Sun Umbrella was made in Opatija, Croatia in 2006 as part of the blurred photography cityscape project I was loosely undertaking. Mainly I was looking for bold colors to abstract while pretending to be a tourist mimicking the scenes they might most obviously shoot. A different composition resides with Red Carnations and Sun Umbrella No.2.
