Featured Fine Art Photography Series

This is Abstract Chair Shadows in the Garden Shadows Photography Series of 5 related works.
The ornate has always charmed me and I might rightly postulate that growing up a poor kid design was a symbol of the luxury that was always out of reach if not completely forbidden to me. When I was slightly older I went through a very heavy romantic period which caused a bit of panic with some people. Much more broadly associated now that I am I confess still a fondness for the decorative!
While I was making the decorative nature series of Palm Shadows on Paper I couldn't resist the shadows of some patio chairs at my temporary home in Opatija, Croatia. Of all of the abstracts I could have made somehow peculiarly I found I was satisfied with only one which is here. But the chairs as well as a familial table are featured in other larger scale works spread though this gallery including the two picture series Patio Abstract No.1 showcasing a tip of a footstool and Patio Abstract No.2 which reveals the lines and the gleaming white which I personally restored to the antique set by hand and brush.
Finally this chair puts in a magnificent appearance in concert with my cat Lloyd in the black and white photograph Cat with Chair and Clothespin made shortly after the Garden Shadows Series.
