Blue Series

This is the fine art photography abstract nature arrangement of Banana Tree No.3 part of a series made in Opatija, Croatia's Park Angiolina in 2006.

While making this series I kept coming to see these gigantic leaves as sails. The sun was hot and I found myself in unbelievable contortions trying to find what I perhaps hallucinated I was looking for. This particular arrangement has a special definition of something indeed sailing, the golden stem of the leaf a 21st century mast.
