The fine art photography series Banana Tree Composition (in Some Kind of Major).. the subject of which was a Musa-Basjoo Japanese Fiber Banana tree.. was made in Opatija, Croatia in the spring of 2006 and belongs to the Banana Trees Series

This particular work was rediscovered as I edited the Series which had been in an unfinished state since the early summer of 2006 when it made its first appearance in my editing room. When I began somewhat grudgingly to work on this piece which in its nun-edited form gave me annoyance immersion brought me back to its secret. This picture is a monster of omni-directionality.

However I swiveled, twisting neck and spine, ankles, hips, the image was the same in the frame but only better at a slightly different angle.. The "series" presented here is simply the single image rotated to illustrate its plurality of composition.. each one being the same but unique and equally valid. Viewer choose! Which do you like best?!

Recalling the physical and I will add painful positions I had to contort into for nearly a half hour of near hallucination to make this picture it in turn reminded me of a cursing vow to edit him into proper form later, which due to the discomfort of the making caused me to put it off and so far from my mind that this work was nearly thrown out, to never be finished.

But it is finished and here is Banana Tree Composition in Some Kind of Major.
