The blurred abstract photography composition, Banana Leaves with Pink Villa No.1 is one of three subtle variations in a series made in Opatija, Croatia late summer 2006.

I had just returned to the seaside after a three month exile in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina where I missed the Mediterranean colors of the north Adriatic Sea. I always like to step away from a place and I think that my fate of having to leave the country every three months due to visa restrictions was actually in my favor. It's like leaving the fields fallow for a while and you know that when you plant next time you will reap a rich crop.
